About Agile Boston

THE THEME OF THE 2020 EVENT:

The Spirit of Scrum!

The spirit of Scrum is the spirit of improvement progress and GREATNESS. Scrum’s roles, events and decision-rights create the conditions for greatness to emerge, but the spirit of improvement and progress is what compels teams and organization to go from GOOD to GREAT.

Scrum is a lightweight process framework which is simple to understand but difficult to master. The Scrum Guide describes itself as being the “Definitive Rules of the Game”.  Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland, the co-creators of Scrum, have explained how to play the game of Scrum well without being too prescriptive. The Spirit of Scrum is what guides you when the Scrum Guide does not tell you what you “should” do.

Scrum is a game with clear rules; however, it is essential that the spirit of improvement and progress guides you. This years event focuses on THE SPIRIT OF SCRUM, which is the spirit of improvement, progress, mastery and greatness.
